Description of items
All items are described as accurately as possible. However please note that all measurements are approximate and, as gemstones are natural products, the precise colour may vary slightly from item to item. Box of Jewels Limited accepts no liability for any inaccuracy or incompleteness in these descriptions.
Postage and Packing Charges
When you place an order the appropriate postage and packing charge will be added. These charges are for standard delivery within the UK only. Items which are to be delivered outside the UK, or which require express delivery, will incur an additional charge which will be advised separately. Full details of our despatch methods are given in the Help section.
Damaged/Faulty Items
We will replace or make a refund for any item which is damaged or faulty or sent in error. All claims must be made via email to sales@boxofjewels.co.uk or by post to Box of Jewels Ltd, Cortina, Sugar Lane, Hemel Hempstead, Herts HP1 2RT within seven working days of receipt and the original item(s) must be retained for return or inspection by Box of Jewels Limited if required. We will advise you of the best method of returning the item.
Returns and Refunds
In accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you may cancel your order within seven working days from the day after receipt of the goods by notifying us in writing - either by email to sales@boxofjewels.co.uk or by letter to Box of Jewels Ltd, Cortina, Sugar Lane, Hemel Hempstead, Herts HP1 2RT. The goods must then be returned to us, undamaged and unused, at the customer's own expense. Providing notice has been given as specified, we will refund the cost of the item(s) within 30 days. Please note that we are not able to refund costs we have incurred as a result of customers requesting additional services such as express delivery or delivery outside the UK.
Refunds for items paid for via the electronic payment system will be made electronically to the account from which the original payment was made. Cheque payments will be refunded by a cheque made payable to the name on the original order and will be sent to the order or delivery address specified at the time of ordering. If you fail to return the item, or send them at our expense, we will exercise our right under Distance Selling Regulation 17 to recover the direct cost of return.
